Shilaneh Canned Food Company was established in 1980 in Alborz Industrial City with the aim of producing tuna fish cans and other aquatic products.
As the first private sector tuna canning production unit in Iran, the company has successfully captured significant domestic and international market shares. Improving the quality and quantity of Shilaneh products to access new markets has always been our priority, and to achieve this goal, compliance with international standards and regulations of importing countries has been a fundamental principle for our management.

After studying EU health regulations, the company decided to implement these standards in autumn 1998.
Our HACCP team, following EU directives 493/91 and 356/91 along with the global Codex Alimentarius (EC738), obtained the European Economic Market entry license in 1999. With over 40 years of experience in tuna canning industry, Shilaneh has become one of Iran's largest producers, expanding its product range from seafood cans to include pinto beans, Mexican salad, sweet corn, canned chicken, canned peas, beans with mushrooms, tomato paste, canned fava beans, and canned sprats.

Product development and diversification remain our key focus, with all expansion plans approved and currently being implemented. New products will be introduced to the market in the near future, God willing.
